"Y3K": A dystopian sci-fi film by YWCA KL’s Youth Wing, created with students and graduates of YWCA KL’s Vocational Training Opportunity Centre. The film concludes a 2022 program that equipped students for the New Normal through content creation, vocational skills, and environmental awareness in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
about the ARTIST
Youth Wing is the youth division of YWCA KL, an NGO for women’s development. It aims to uplift, engage and educate youth, primarily the students of YWCA KL’s VTOC through creative projects and programs.
Established in 1998, the Vocational Training Opportunity Centre (VTOC) is a project under YWCA KL which empowers young women from the B40 community with skills training, development opportunities and entrepreneurial knowledge.
