Y3K: Dream Worlds is a cross-educational live exhibition that conveys environmental questions through immersive theatre, poetry, and film. It accompanies the launch of Y3K, a futuristic dystopian sci-fi film created by YWCA KL’s Youth Wing with students and graduates from the YWCA KL’s Vocational Training Opportunity Centre.
about the ARTIST
Youth Wing is the youth division of YWCA KL, an NGO for women’s development. It aims to uplift, engage and educate youth, primarily the students of YWCA KL’s VTOC through creative projects and programs.
Established in 1998, the Vocational Training Opportunity Centre (VTOC) is a project under YWCA KL which empowers young women from the B40 community with skills training, development opportunities and entrepreneurial knowledge.
