about the event
Set against the backdrop of the real historical floods that paralyzed the capital city in 1971, this photography exhibition retraces the history of Kampung Pantai Cetek which was once situated on the banks of Klang River. Without any reliable historical records, the project relies on the memory of a former resident of the village to reimagine what life was like back in the good old days.
